Heartbreakin Sparx o FireAka 'Sparx'. Well Jane really held out on us and had me checking dates over and over, but 8 1/2 weeks late she gave us this lovely little bay and white filly. Sparx was quite weak for the first 48 hours, and just couldn't get those long legs to go where she wanted to get up, but once she got the legs sorted, hasn't looked back and is growing beautifully. She is well put together and has fantastic movement and we are thrilled with her. Sparx has matured into a stunning yearling and it is hard to believe she had a slow start. She is extremely well mannered and very quick to pick things, take everything in her stride, a real pleasure to have around. Sparx has been sold to great home in Gisborne, Congatulations Geoff. We look forward to hearing updates on her progress.
Heartbreaker Forget Me Not - 2009Heartbreaker Forget Me Not - Cynder Dam: Westfeild Puzzle Sire: Heartbreakin Rebel Puzzle this year gave us just what we asked for - a buckskin and white filly. Next time I will be more specific and ask for half and half colour. We are thrilled with Cynder who is a beautifully put together filly, with real 'look at me' presence. She has lovely blue eyes, something I had always said I wasn't a fan of, but I have been surprised how much I like them as with the buckskin they look very 'right' and add to her appeal, and hence the name forget me not, not only is she very different and unforgetable, the blue of her eyes is a bit like a forget me not flower. Cynder has been sold to a fabulous new home in Whangarei, congratulations Nichola. Nichola intends to have Cynder out and about inhand, so we look forward to updates about the red ribbons she is winning.
Heartbreakin Eloquence - 2008Ellie was born November 2008. She is by Rebel out of Luckin (TB - Oringi Star) Eliie is a lovely girl, full of energy and fun. She has lovely conformation and he dad's wonderful temperament, as well as the 'look at me' attidtude. We are looking at keeping her to show in the next season, but would consider selling her to a good home. She is definitely one we want to have out and about. Ellie has matured into a lovely filly. She is very laidback and easy going about any training, just takes things in her stride, 5 mins to learn to load onto float, travels well and is calm and confident in new surroundings - what more could you ask for? Hitch is growing into a stunning boy. He has been purchased by Michelle of napier and will be out in the inhand classes this coming season. Congratulations to Michelle and Hitch who went well inhand at their first outing, HB Show. Heartbreaker Bout TimeBosco really kept us waiting - 4 1/2 weeks late!!! He is out of Luckin by Face Value 2 (Oreo).
Bosco is no longer smaller than Hitch he passed him by inches now!
Bosco has been sold to Di Reid of Napier, we look forward to watching him develop over the years Bosco is growing well and is going to be a handsome big boy. He has a wonderful kind nature and Katie was lucky enough to be able to show him inhand for his first outing at HB Show. Although he didn't come home with any ribbons, we were extremely proud how he coped with the whole atmosphere etc especially as it was Katie's first inhand show also, he certainly will be one to watch next year. Thank you Di for giving Katie the opportunity to show your boy. |
