Spic n Span - Patch

Patch is where our love of pintos started.  He is the most awesome horse to own, he has such a wonderful, funny personality and is loved by all who meet him.  He was a wonderful jumper in his day, but being born in 1982, he is getting on in years now.  He has taught many children to ride in his later years and now is mainly retired, but is a wonderful uncle to the weanlings and keeps Toby on the straight and narrow!   Patch epitomises everything we aim to breed: sensible, trainable nature with character, athletic with good bone and composed under pressure with the added bonus of colour and good looks!  What more could we ask for?

Sadly this winter was hard for Patch, his arthritis become more painful, so the very hard decision was made to have him put to sleep on 02.07.08.  Rest in Peace, you will be missed each and everyday, you were a wonderful horse to own.

Sharlamae - Sharli

Sharli is Katie our daughters riding pony.  She is a Kaimanawa/stationbred x and an awesome pony with a wonderful nature.  They have built up an amazing bond and have lots of fun together.  She loves jumping and can jump like a stag, and also loves games, but can also do nice flatwork.  She is going to be very hard to part with when Katie grows too big for her.

Sharli has now been sold to ShaeRuby of Norsewood.

Happy As Larry - Larry

Katies pony. Larry is an absolute gem. Standing at a massive (lol) 14hh and 10yrs old, he does anything and everything (loves water and jumping. Try getting him out of a river!!!) Only 2 days after buying him, Katie sat and passed her C cert on him!  Larry has so much character and a bit of mischief, we have to make sure the gates are well fastened as he is very clever at opening things, he has the hayshed sussed, having a smorgasbord, so he can't be grazed in that paddock anymore, but that just makes him more lovable.

Larry has now been purchased by Leah Smith of Taradale, the good bit for us is that Leah is grazing Larry with us, so we get to see him everyday still.  We wish Leah all the happiness and fun that Katie had with Larry.
